Me vs The Scale

Today was the beginning of our last week on the 21 day fix and it was weigh-in day for me. I didn’t get much sleep and woke up super early to face the scale. I have been trying to weigh in each week wearing the same outfit because well I’m crazy. I’ve even weighed in at the same location each time. Yep…me and the scale in the kitchen. It makes perfect sense. Well it did until this morning when I debated about weighing in butt naked. What? I was worried that the scale lied to me last week. Losing 7.7 pounds in a week was pretty freakin awesome. I’m not sure my heart could have taken it if my weight increased this week. So you see naked seemed like a good option until I thought about the poor traumatized children seeing my big behind naked in the kitchen. I decided to go with the safe, normal outfit. I wish I could say I lost another 7.7 but that wasn’t the case. I did lose though! I’m another 2.4 pounds lighter bringing me to 10.1 pounds lost in two weeks. That’s pretty stinkin amazing! Not too shabby for just changing eating habits and working out 30 minutes a day. Why didn’t I do this sooner? It’s probably those pesky commitment issues. I’m glad I took the leap of faith. I’m learning to make healthier choices and losing weight because of it. So simple how can you not want to continue? They recommend that I do 2 workouts a day this last week. I promise I had all intentions of doing just that but unfortunately I worked too late tonight. Tomorrow…I will take over the world. No excuses the rest of the week. Two workouts per day plus eating right has to equal more weightloss. I can’t wait to see the inches and pounds lost after this week. Do you hear eye of the tiger? I do. 😉

  1. Do the leg lifts at your desk!! Exercise is exercise and it all counts. I caught up on your blog today and so enjoy how you put how we all feel into words (and laughs). I still do my yoga…you will love what it does for flexibility if you stick with it! You’re right though. Watch the whole tape first. Once I did my neck hurt a lot less…..and the curse words decreased…hahahah. Go get it Susan you’re doing great!
